Special Purpose Interface Designs

Only example designs performed for other companies are shown. Modifications to our products can be found on the Dynamic Data Sheet for the product. For example there are more than 16 adaptations of the IP BiSerial shown on the IP BiSerial Data Sheet. Dynamic Engineering products are reachable from the Java menus. For help see "Off The Top".

IP Synchro and IP Synchro Transition Module - Interface with Synchro, Resolver or InductoSyn sensors. 2 channels per IndustryPackÆ card. Can operate with or without Transition Module. Transition Module provides reference and excitation signals, preamplification for InductoSyn, Fuse protection, and Digital to Resolver capabilities. The Digital to Resolver can be used for test purposes with an external loop back cable. The reference and excitation drivers can operate up to +/-15 V out with the on board DC/DC converter and up to +/- 150V with an external supply. Xilinx 4005 provides control, bus interface, and interface to DDC 19222.

CSIF - Communications Serial Interface - The CSIF provided two bi-directional data paths for serial communication. The data was sent/received with RS-422 electrical protocol at programmable rates up to 8 Mb/s. All four channels were completely independent. The cards were used for command/response message traffic between two signal processing chassis. [PLD control]

IPINS - Interface to Inertial Navigation System implemented on an IndustryPack card. Data is received and stored on the IPINS. The data sets can be selectively stored. [3042]

FDIO - Special purpose bi-directional FIFO based parallel communications interface. Host interface via Industry Pack standard.

BSDO - Special purpose FIFO based serial communication output interface. The industry pack interface and control for the serial interfaces were implemented within a Xilinx FPGA [3042].

BSDI - Special purpose FIFO based serial communication input interface. The industry pack interface and control for the serial interfaces were implemented within a Xilinx FPGA [3042].

Etherpack - Ethernet interface with adapters for 10-Base-T, AUI, and 10-Base-2 standards. IndustryPack interface to host processor. Lance chipset. Control and host interface implemented with a Xilinx FPGA [3030]. Dual ported memory for message storage.

IPSDI - IndustryPack Serial Data Interface. Xilinx based control for a special purpose multiple input bus serial interface card.

IPUS IndustryPack Universal Serial. Control based upon the AT2500 and Zilog USC chip. Multiple bus standards supported - RS232, RS422, RS485. Multiple protocols supported through USC device.

IPH009 - IndustryPack H009. Special purpose double wide IndustryPack. Xilinx 3090 based control. H009 master interface. Two channels [redundant] of Manchester encoded data, plus reference clock. National Hybrid transceivers, Technitrol transformers, Xilinx based Manchester decoder and state machine control. FIFO based data storage.

PCI-40 - IndustryPack Carrier board for PCI environment. 4 slots with DMA. 32 Mhz. IP bus interface. Altera FPGAs used for control. PLX9060 utilized for PCI interface.
