  • PMC SpaceWire Upgrade The VHDL and Driver for the PMC and PCI SpaceWire designs has been updated to include a 4 channel DMA capability and time code. The DMA update provides independent operation of the channels and the ability to run much larger data blocks without CPU intervention. The update is shipping now. Owners of revision 2 and later hardware can update their cards by returning to Dynamic Engineering with a PO to cover the nominal programming and test time. Updated manuals for the hardware and driver are available on the PCI and PMC webpages.

Black anodized extruded aluminum chassis and aluminum endcaps. Chassis comes complete with external housing and internal frame, bumper pads, end caps and gaskets.
  • PMC-BiSerial-III-TRANS-HW4 - updated version of PMC BiSerial III with transformer coupled IO and conduction cooling. HW4 is the first customized version, and features manchester encoding/decoding full and half duplex operation, Dual Port RAM. 8 independent channels.
  • PMC-BiSerial-III-HW2 - SDLC and asynchronous protocols added to upper channels of HW1 design. Full and half duplex support for SDLC.
  • cPCI4IP-MM - updated version with a minimized PCI memory requirement. One eighth of the standary memory requirement. Full IO, INT and ID spaces. 64K the MEM space for each of the 4 slots.
  • PCI-SpaceWire and PMC-SpaceWire - New option available with deep FIFOs - 128K x 32 on TX and on RX for channel 0. -128 option.
  • IP-CAN Windows® driver now available. Extensive testing done with multiple node long and short networks, termination options, ISO and Direct connect. IP Driver compatible with all Dynamic Engineering Carrier drivers for maximum portability. Updated fab with software programmable bus termination supported by the driver. User reference software included when driver is ordered. We are considering doing a GUI for this one with some expanded - application level features - address snoop and so forth.   • Updated, redesigned Linux base driver for PCI3IP, PCI5IP carriers is done. Now porting to cPCI2IP, cPCI4IP, PC104pIP, PC104p4IP. First IP level driver is for the IP-QuadUART. Generic driver included with carrier driver allows any IP to be used with the carrier.
  • New design PCIeBPMCX1 PCIe [PCI Express]1/2 length format carrier / adapter for PMC. PCI32/33 up to PCI-X speeds with 4 lane PCI Express interface. Local Power supplies to operate without a power cable. "Zero Slot Fan"™ options. By customer request we cut down the connector and made a single lane version of the card. Fully tested and compliant. The PCIeBPMC is a copy of the PCIeBPMCX1 with reduced lane count for situations where the PMC is 32/33 or intermittent operation at a higher frequency is required. Compatible with 1 lane PCIe slots. For full PCI-X operation use the PCIeBPMCX1.
  • IP-QuadUART : Driver developed for Linux environment. Linux parent driver has been designed and ported to PCI3IP, PCI5IP, cPCI2IP, cPCI4IP, PC104pIP, and PC104p4IP carriers. The first child driver to go with the carrier drivers is for IP-QuadUART, and is now completed. The carrier driver comes with a generic driver module to act as the child driver for IP´s without a Linux driver written. The generic driver allows third party designs without native linux drivers to be used with the Dynamic Engineering Carrier Drivers for Linux as well as any Dynamic Engineering cards not yet supported. Example software using the generic driver is included.
  • PMC BiSerial BAE1 : Driver developed for Windows® environment. Initial design had VxWorks support. New client with different requirements.
  • PC104p-BiSerial-III-DDL : Port of IP-OctalSerial-FCS to PC104p-Biserial-III platform plus driver. Delivered. T&I at customer complete
  • PCI-Harpoon : New design with PCI format, 4 interface channels each with serial differential, power sense for 28V circuits, power sense for 115V AC single and 3 phase, switched 28V output power. Dynamic Data Sheet T&I completed at customer site.
  • PCI-Altera-FM1: Serial interface designed for customer support on the PCI-Altera. VHDL and Driver for customer maintained design. Delivered.

  • PMC Parallel TTL BA16 customized version of PMC Parallel TTL design. DMA based FIFO supported programmable output with byte wide DMA supported input function. Linux Driver. Tested in PMC MC X4 with PrPMC.

  • Windows® Win32 model [XP/2000 etc.] driver for PMC Serial RTN5 Completed

  • Linux driver for PMC PCI Spacewire Completed.

  • HDEterm68: DIN connector compatible terminal strip break-out to work with PCI2PMC, PCIBPMC, PCIBPMCX2, PCIeBPMCX1 etc.. Recently updated [10/08] to have differentially routed, matched length, controlled impedance traces between connectors and screw terminals.

  • PCIBPMCX2: Updated design to allow for "Zero Slot Fans"™ capabilities, improved power supply, and matched length IO. 11/08. Now shipping

  • PMC BiSerial ORB2 customized version of PMC Biserial III design. ORB2 has 2 channels each of 4 different protocols. Mixed 485 and LVDS IO, Ternary, Low Speed, High Speed, and Telemetry interfaces. External FIFO's implemented on High Speed channels to provide 132K x 32 of storage per channel. Each channel is half duplex. Programmable data rates, inversion of control signals, other programmable options on each channel. Windows® driver. 2/09

  • PMC Parallel TTL BA17 customized version of PMC Parallel TTL design. Change of State detection with Time Tag, Data storage supported with DMA. Window® driver developed at Dynamic Engineering, VxWorks driver developed by client. BA17 has been ported to the BA18.

  • ccPMC Parallel TTL BA18 customized version of ccPMC Parallel TTL design. BA18 started with the BA17 features ported to a conduction cooled version of the PMC Parallel TTL card. In addition 8 ADC's [12 bit, 10 MHz max] were added each with FIFO support, DMA, and compression. Windows® driver. 2/09

  • PMC BiSerial BA19 customized version of PMC Biserial III design. BA19 uses a byte wide port to transfer data between a Master and a Target device. Programmable data rate, handshake, FIFO's with DMA for each port. Windows® driver. 2/09

  • PC104p SpaceWire New design based on PCI SpaceWire PC104p and PCI-104 compatible. Now Shipping. See HW and SW manuals on PCI SpaceWire page. Linux and Windows® drivers available. Available Now.

  • PCI-ASCB New design based PCIBPMCX2, PMC-BiSerial-Trans. Differential Ethernet processing on a PCI board with an available PMC slot for local processing. Dual Port RAM is used in ASCB; DMA function has been updated to work with address based memory. Design complete and tested. First run of 30 PCI-ASCB boards complete.

  • ccPMC-SpaceWire Conduction cooled version of the PMC SpaceWire design with special option for Rad Hard FLASH. 4 channels supported with DMA, TimeCode, frequency selection, internal and optional external memory.
