VHDCIterm68 Description

VHDCIterm68 provides an easy way to get from a high density VHDCI connector to discrete wires. For example with the XMC-Parallel-TTL design a standard VHDCI cable can be used to connect the XMC to VHDICterm68, and then to the system wiring via the screw terminal strips provided. VHDCIterm68 provides a space efficient, low cost method of interconnecting the control electronics to the rest of the sensors, IO, machinery etc. Please note: VHDCI to SCSI cables are currently available allowing HDEterm68 to be used if that breakout is preferred.

VHDCIterm68 has the VHDCI connector centrally located for a flow through design. The connector and terminal block are interconnected with differentially routed matched length traces. Internal ground planes are used to reference the traces to provide 100 ohm differential impedance.
