Software Drivers - Carrier
The Dynamic Engineering system of Carrier and Module drivers is based on a parent and child relationship. The structure allows the IP drivers to be completely portable between any of the Dynamic Engineering IP Module carriers. You can develop on a PCI3IP in a PC, and then port your application software untouched to a cPCI or PC104p based system. The architecture requires unique drivers for the carriers that are independent of the IP modules. The Carrier drivers include a generic capability to allow our clients to use any IP - even one without a driver with our carriers. Mix and match ours with third party cards. The driver manuals for the carriers are on the carrier Dynamic Data Pages linked to from the following jump table. The PCI3IP has a subpage with detailed information of the carrier IP driver relationship.
